Drew completed his Bachelor in Dental Surgery at Liverpool University in 2015 where he was awarded the Richard Edwards scholarship for excellence in clinical dentistry. Following completion of dental foundation training in North Wales, he completed three years of Dental Core Training where he worked within Oral and Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery units within the northwest of England. In 2017 he achieved Membership of the
Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.He was inspired to undertake Oral Surgery
specialist training and in 2019 following a highly competitive national selection process, Drew ranked 1st in the country and achieved a training position. He has recently completed this training and passed the prestigious Tri-Collegiate Membership in Oral Surgery examination and was elected as a member Oral Surgeon at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.Drew completes all aspects of Oral Surgery; he is experienced in dental sedation and he undertakes Oral Surgery university teaching. He believes dental anxiety should not be a barrier to treatment and he takes great care and pride in managing anxious patients.Originally from County Durham, Drew lives in Heswall and he is a proud husband and dad. When he is not following or playing sport, he is home improving. He enjoys running and has completed multiple marathons. Drew holidays regularly in Ireland and is never happier than when he is in the country with his family.
